One of the top SEO companies in South Africa is looking for vibrant young interns that have basic understanding of the online world. The candidate should be fresh out of college / university and looking to break into the SEO and digital agency industry.

The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist the SEO and Link building teams in their daily tasks
• Learn and implement search engine optimization techniques.
• To research and write quality and relevant content in a variety of fields and industries
• To research keywords in the target field and write content around these keywords
• Compose optimized web marketing texts, articles and press releases.
• Publish articles to relevant websites
• Social media marketing of content to a targeted audience
• Build and manage relationships with suitable content suppliers
• Communicate to SEO Analyst regarding content and link opportunities
• Interest in developing an understanding of SEO and online publishing
• Generate SEO ranking reports
• Analytical skills to assist in the keyword research and web analytics
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Skills (advantageous)

• Basic knowledge of search engines, websites and social media.
• Basic understanding of how search engines rank pages.
• Basic HTML knowledge
• Basic knowledge of CMS systems such as WordPress and Joomla
• Blogging experience
