Daniel's writing career began in the magazine industry, working as a journalist for a variety of publications and writing on topics ranging from cars to gaming. In pursuit of a more challenging environment, he decided to try his hand in a marketing centred writing role, and found a job as a copywriter for a large manufacturing company in Johannesburg. After gaining valuable experience producing work for a number of prestigious brands over several years, he decided that the time was right to grab life by the horns and make a long awaited move to the Mother City. A lifelong fascination with technology and the internet, combined with a passion for new media, drove Daniel to knock on the doors of R.O.I Media. Repeatedly.
HOBBIES:
Outside work hours, I swap one keyboard for another. I am a multi-instrumentalist and singer, having toured nationally and internationally with a number of musical acts. I am currently working with one of Cape Town’s most acclaimed progressive rock bands the Sleepers and writing and arranging with other collaborators.
