Strengths: I have the ability to drink until 3 o clock the morning and still look fine at work, Can drive a superbike on one wheel for 1km.
Dawie joined R.O.I. in September 2007 after picking up valuable experience
in Europe. He originally joined the SANDF, but after a year he decided
to further his studies and tackled a two-year advanced IT diploma.
A year after graduating, he shot over to the UK where he worked
for NTL (now Virgin Media) and at BT as a cable technician. On his
return, R.O.I. saw the potential and immediately snapped him up. Dawie
handles the coding/development of sites as well as site hosting.
He also takes care of the helpdesk so that clients can enjoy prompt
assistance and feedback. A jack of all trades, he says that his
day can go from doing company backups or redirects to small handyman
jobs like drilling holes and taking Allen's scooter to be licensed.
HOBBIES:
Nothing beats a beer with a couple of friends and getting the coals
ready for a potjie. I also enjoy starting up my 900cc Fireblade
on Saturday mornings and driving wherever. Hunting, cycling, gaming,
music and dining out is what I get up to in between.
