Jacky left the fast-paced city of Johannesburg for the scenic Mother City, which she claims possessed her heart after her first visit. She completed her diploma in Journalism and PR before starting her career as a writer at Caxton. Her love of taking pictures eventually took the lead when she became the full-time photographer for two of their publications. After relocating to Cape Town and finding her passion for words taking control once again, she ended up on the doorstep of ROI Media. In her own words, she adds: 'The fresh Cape Town air keeps me sufficiently eloquent, chilled and keen to explore the vast machine that is online media. I'm the resident vegan at the company, always ready to convert an eager mind to my way of eating with a piece of tofu and some cleverly written vegan propaganda. Rock 'n roll!'

HOBBIES:
I enjoy scaring the absolute hell out of myself with various books and movies of a disturbing nature. When I'm not hiding under the covers you'll find me campaigning for animal rights, watching old Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes over and over, contemplating the beautiful details of every day existence and questioning the universe at every turn. Oh, and I'm a pacifist but I love shooting people in the head on Xbox.
